    The weekend kicks off at Henke & Pillot every Friday as we seek to provide a fun and laid-back atmosphere for all patrons to enjoy. Sounds provided from the dynamic duo, DJ Stashwell & DJ FlipHop providing all the hits from the past and present.

  • 02/02 - First Saturday Arts Market - Houston
    Browse fine art and eclectic goods at the free monthly First Saturday Arts Market in the heart of the Houston Heights. In addition to shopping and browsing, you’ll find live music, food truck bites, great people watching and more.

  • 02/02 - Black Panther Movie Screening - Houston
    Watch the critically acclaimed, box office breaking, action-packed movie, Black Panther with the whole family in Midtown Park.

  • 02/02 - Ladies Day Out - Magnolia
    This free event includes food trucks, wine tasting, door prizes and more!

  • 02/09 - 2019 Lunar New Year Festival - Houston
    Celebrate the Year of the Pig at the annual family-friendly 2019 Lunar New Year Festival at the Chinese Community Center. The festival will feature local food vendors, information booths, cultural performances, craft activities for the whole family, and more.

  • 02/09 - 2nd Saturday at the Depot - Tomball
    2nd Saturday at the Depot is a free family friendly event that happens at the Historic Tomball Depot! Each month, there are crafts, games & other activities for all ages – followed by a movie under the stars in the park. Movies begin at dark & you’re welcome to bring a picnic dinner, and your furry friends too! 

  • 02/10 - EastEndBikeRide: 5th Annual Love Ride at D&W Lounge - Houston
    Join EastEndBikeRide for a Valentine’s bike ride around town and visit several “Love” murals.

  • 02/25 - Toddler Playdate - The Woodlands
    Join us for this come-and-go program that encourages independent toddler play with educational toys and board books. Children learn through play, so take a breather and let your toddler learn while you visit with other parents.

  • 02/27 - Family Story Time - The Woodlands
    This program emphasizes early literacy skills and is a great way to meet other families with young children. Each story time features three books read, songs, and a simple craft. 

  • Mondays - All About Moms Support Group - The Woodlands
    This is a Mom to Mom support group for babies from birth to one year facilitated by a Registered Nurse.

  • Saturdays - The Woodlands Farmer's Market - The Woodlands
    The Grogan's Mill Village Association (GMVA) invites you to The Woodlands Farmer's Market at Grogan's Mill Located at The Grogan's Mill Village Center. Fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, prepared foods, salsas, honey, eggs, plants, Indian, Mexican and Mediterranean foods, seasonal products such as pumpkins.  

  • Sundays - Recovery Sundays in the Garden - Houston
    Wind down from the weekend with drink specials, music from a live DJ, and rotating food trucks when Wicklow Heights hosts Recovery Sundays on its backyard patio.

  • 02/02 - Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k - Houston
    The Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k/5k is seeking energetic volunteers to assist with the Hot Chocolate Runner Expo and Race Day events and provide key support to the thousands of participants as they “run for chocolate." With a variety of exciting and delicious positions available, there is a spot for everyone, including individuals, teams, school groups, corporate groups, friends and family.

  • 02/02 - Stanley Preserve Groundbreaking and workday - Houston
    Possible Activities include trail and fence-line clearing including brush, tree, debris removal, and trash pickup at preserve entrance and along road.  Tools, gloves and other necessary equipment will be provided, but you’re encouraged to bring your own gloves, saws, loppers, etc. Snacks and beverages will also be provided. The Stanley Preserve is a 33-acre lot owned by The Coalition. The vision for the site is to be an outdoor educational space with hiking trails, an outdoor pavilion, interpretive signage, demonstration areas with a parking lot, and front entry gate. The rest of the property will be preserved as wildlife habitat.

  • 02/10 - Super Heroes vs Villains Half Marathon - Houston

  • Any - Houston Arboretum - Houston
    Our volunteers contribute their time, passion and knowledge to assist the Arboretum’s education and conservation programs which are the corner stones of our Mission. Our volunteers get involved, get outside & get back into nature through active & support activities. Both weekday and weekend volunteer opportunities are available. Ages 16+. Orientations & trainings are held throughout the year.

  • Varies - Teaching STEM through Minecraft - Houston
    By using Minecraft as a platform for learning, educators and volunteers like you can motivate and inspire every student to achieve more and ignite a passion for learning. Join a community of educators learning how to use Minecraft to unlock 4th and 5th-grade students potential. Looscan Elementary would like your help as we share modules with our students and teach them the principles of design, coding, and engineering through the use of Minecraft: Education.
