Each year during the first weekend in August, the town presents its oldest rodeo, the War Bonnet Roundup, which has been a tradition since 1911. The town is home to Tautphaus Park Zoo, a leader in conservation and wildlife education. It is also known as the “Best Little Zoo in the West”.
