Cash Store Joins with the American Red Cross to Assist Oklahoma Tornado Victims
by David Sung
On May 20, Moore, Oklahoma was devastated by an EF5 tornado. Tornadoes also struck parts of central Oklahoma on May 19. Cash Store has joined the many companies and individuals that are assisting with relief efforts by making a financial contribution to the American Red Cross. The donation will directly help relief efforts in Oklahoma.
Established in 1881, the American Red Cross was one of the first humanitarian organizations in America, and today remains one of the strongest and most visible signs of relief for those who have been impacted by disasters.
The Red Cross has deployed over 900 disaster workers and 45 vehicles throughout Oklahoma. Cash Store’s donation will support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief efforts, including emergency response vehicles, shelters, kitchens, and medical aid.
If you would like to help the impacted communities in Oklahoma, you can make a donation on the American Red Cross website. We hope for a swift recovery in Oklahoma, and our hearts go out to those who have been affected.
