  • 07/03 - Patriotic Pops - Plano
    Celebrate America! Bring a picnic and lawn chairs, sit back, and enjoy patriotic favorites such as “American Flourish,” "The Gallant Seventh," "The Armed Forces Salute," and "America the Beautiful." Kick off your Independence celebrations with PCB!

  • 07/03 - Addison Kaboom Town! - Addison
    This celebration is city-wide, with a party in Addison Circle Park, watch parties at many of Addison’s restaurants, hotels, and the Addison Airport Air Show, which can be seen from anywhere in town. The 30-minute long fireworks show is among the best in the nation, and is radio simulcast each year! Afterwards, while area traffic calms, attendees are invited to remain in Addison Circle Park as party band Emerald City plays on the Budweiser Main Stage.

  • 07/03 - Red, White & Boom on the Bridge - Dallas
    Red, White & Boom on the Bridge, presented by the City of Dallas and 98.7 KLUV, features live music, family activities, and plenty of great food along the Ronald Kirk Bridge, The Felix Lozada Sr. Gateway, and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. The evening will end with fireworks over the Dallas skyline.

  • 07/04 - Independence Day Celebration - Irving
    The City of Irving holds an annual two-part celebration of America’s independence each year. Thousands of attendees enjoy the wide variety of activities throughout the day, including an award-winning parade, community reception, and evening festival with fireworks display.

  • 07/04 - Independence Fest 2019 - Flower Mound
    Celebrate America's freedom at Independence Fest on Thursday, July 4, 2019! This year's event will continue to build on the success of previous years to be a great day of celebration, and, as always, admission and parking are FREE! A full day of activities begins with the annual Children's Parade, and concludes with a fantastic evening program of live music with a fireworks finale! As always, there will be a vintage car show, a showcase of our local businesses, food and drinks for the whole family, and a completely FREE Kid's Zone.

  • 07/04 - Fair Park Fourth on the Midway - Dallas
    Join us in celebration of Independence Day at Fair Park Fourth. The State Fair of Texas Midway will be open for guests to enjoy live music, rides, games, fireworks and your favorite Fair foods! 

  • 07/04 - All American 4th - Plano
    Plano’s All American Fourth will celebrate the USA with a day of festival and fireworks. The event includes live music, a free kid’s zone with bounce houses and rock climbing, a food and vendor market, and a fantastic fireworks display, which is simulcast on Radio 97.5 KLAK. Coolers are welcome, but alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

  • 07/04 - Star Spangled Spectacular 2019 - Garland
    Star Spangled Spectacular will feature face-painting, bounce houses, caricature artists, balloon twisters, strolling entertainment, food trucks and more. 92.1 Hank FM Party Patrol will be onsite from 4-7 pm with games, prize giveaways, and even more fun. The event will culminate with a special Flag Presentation Ceremony, National Anthem performance and patriotic fireworks display at 9:15 pm. Firewheel Town Center retailers will join the celebration by adding great summer sales and in-store events throughout the day.

  • 7/10 & 7/24 - Wednesday Family Fun Days - Addison
    The best FREE Summer Concerts in DFW are back! Vitruvian Nights Live returns to the beautiful Amphitheater at Vitruvian Park with live music, food trucks, and outdoor games!

  • 07/12 - Beats & B. B. Owen Summer Music Series - McKinney
    We're starting summer off with a bang! The Western Flyers with Redd Volkaert will playing at Basecamp in B. B. Owen Park in Trinity Falls! Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy live music & food trucks. Coolers are welcome, but no glass containers please. Come out, bring your family & friends - it's sure to be a good time! The event is free and open to the public.

  • 07/14 - Bastille on Bishop - Dallas
    Bastille on Bishop is an annual festival in the heart of the Bishop Arts District that celebrates Oak Cliff's unique French roots. Visitors can don their best berets and join friends for a little champagne and dancing in the streets. To consume alcoholic beverages at the festival, guests must purchase one of the event wine glasses, which comes with two tokens to be used for either beverages or food. The festival is free for those who are simply coming to enjoy the atmosphere. Additional tokens will also be available for purchase.

  • 7/15 & 7/29  - Mondays in the Park 2019 - Plano
    Don’t miss Plano Community Band’s summer concerts in Haggard Park. Bring your own blanket or folding chairs. Leashed dogs are welcome. This event is free and open to the public. On July 15th, we will have Palooza in the Park, celebrating 40 years of great music! On July 29th our theme is A Night at the Jazz Club, performed by The Frisco Jazz Band.

  • 07/19 - Til Midnight at the Nasher - Dallas
    Til Midnight at the Nasher presents live outdoor concerts in the Nasher Sculpture Center Garden followed by film screenings. Guests have the opportunity to attend the Nasher for FREE, taking in the museum's renowned collection of modern and contemporary art as well as contemporary exhibitions by some of the most important artists working today. Enjoy museum tours, activities, and games throughout the Nasher, as well as a special menu at our cafe and grab and go snacks with full bar service and movie snacks continuing until midnight.

  • 07/27 - iLive Women's & Girls' Wellness & Lifestyle Expo - Arlington
    The 6th Annual iLive Expo is North Texas’ largest wellness and lifestyle expo of its kind just for girls and women. The event's goal is to bring together local and national companies that specialize in health and wellness, as well as increasing financial and entrepreneurial awareness by promoting a day full of informative lectures on a variety of wellness topics and interactive events for women of all ages.

  • 7/1-7/7 - 12 Score & 3 Years Ago: The Unfinished Promise of Unity - Irving - $11.75-$23
    This exhibit is an unforgettable, immersive, pop-up museum exploring slavery and abolition, celebrating the lives of black heroes and innovators in the United States. The exhibit provides over 100 artifacts, photographs, and historical documents, five eye-opening augmented reality experiences, and educational tools that provide a fascinating insight into our country's history. A visit to 12 Score will conclude with a moving look at slavery today, as millions remain locked in human trafficking around the world.

  • 07/04 - Old Fashioned Fourth - Dallas - Free-$5
    Deck your family out in red, white and blue, grab your picnic basket and celebrate our nation’s past. Explore the Village and chat with costumed characters. Bring a wagon or a tricycle (no bikes or scooters, please), decorate it at the craft station and be a part of the All-Join-In-Parade at noon. Take some patriotic pics with the donkeys! Test your modern skills against a variety of Victorian carnival-style games. A live reading of the Declaration of Independence will top the day off.

  • 7/4-7/5 - Lone Stars and Stripes Celebration - Grand Prairie - $10-$30
    Join us for a celebration that rocks for our Lone Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration! Celebrate America with live racing and our expanded Family Fun Park with bounce houses, face painters, tattoo artists, pony rides, a petting zoo and much more. After the races conclude, stick around to enjoy a world class fireworks show choreographed to music.

  • 7/4, 7/6 & 7/7 - Fourth of July Weekend - Dallas - $10-$18
    Enjoy $2 hot dogs and root beer floats, complimentary beer samples from noon to 3 p.m., and some of Dallas’ best food trucks! We will have live music and performances, in addition to other activities!

  • 7/10 & 7/24 - Wednesday Family Fun Days - Seagoville - Free-$6
    John Bunker Sands Wetland Center will present Family Fun Days, a variety of fun summer workshops. On July 10th, we will be discovering the many chapes of leaves. On July 24th, we will look at all the ways cattails can be used.

  • 7/17 & 7/21 - Summer Survivor Speaker Series - Dallas - $5-$10
    Join us to hear the testimonies of Holocaust Survivors, Refugees, and Hidden Children, as well as Second Generation Survivors. Included in cost of Museum admission. Seating is first-come, first-served.

  • 7/17-7/21 & 7/23-7/28 - Hello, Dolly! - Dallas - $25+
    The bold and enchanting Dolly Gallagher Levi is a widow, matchmaker and professional meddler. When she decides the next match she needs to make is for herself, she weaves a web of romantic complications for her newest client, the cantankerous “half-a-millionaire” Horace Vandergelder, his two clerks, a pretty hat maker and her assistant.

  • 07/18 - The Great DFW Lip Sync Battle - Dallas - $15-$50
    Save the date and start gathering your teams for The Great DFW Lip Sync Battle! Raise awareness and help prevent child abuse while competing to be the greatest Lip Sync Band (or solo act) in DFW. There will be a prize for the best performance of the night as well as the top fundraising team! Want to be a part of the fun, but suffer from stage fright? No problem! Tickets for the peanut gallery are $15 each.

  • 7/18-8/4 - Crossing the Line - Dallas - $20-$25
    Based on interviews conducted in Dallas, via Skype, and at the border, Crossing the Line is an original documentary-style performance focusing on the immigration debate and the situation at the border.

  • 07/19 - Late Night Film: Dior and I - Dallas - Free-$10
    From concept to runway, Dior and I is a glimpse inside the intense, collaborative, and passionate environment of an atelier creating a new haute couture collection. The film follows Dior artistic director Raf Simons and his team of talented premiers over the course of several months, revealing what goes into creating a couture garment and how fashion houses like Dior pay homage to their past, while shaping the future of fashion.

  • 07/20 - Mooniversary: 50 Years Since Apollo 11 - Arlington - $4-$6
    UTA Planetarium is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing with the “Mooniversary!” We will have four regular shows in the planetarium, which include both a live star talk, as well as a show. Additionally in the planetarium, we will have 3 mini-shows including “The Missions of Apollo” (a custom show covering the missions up to Apollo 12), “Moon Myths and Misconceptions” (also a custom show surrounding fun myths about the Moon), and an Apollo Trivia game in the dome.

  • 07/25 - Christmas in July - Dallas - $10-$18
    It’s never too early for Christmas in July! Cool down with a gelato demonstration from Popbar. Who knows, Santa might be looking to cool down, too, and might make an appearance to enjoy a gelato with you! Enjoy Christmas food activities including decorating a gingerbread house and Christmas cookies.

    LATIN HISTORY FOR MORONS is inspired by the near total absence of Latinos from John Leguizamo's son’s American History books, and his outrageously funny, frenzied search to find a Latin hero for his son’s school history project.     Galactic Swag Expo is a family friendly celebration of Scifi & Fantasy Movies, Electronic Gaming, Pop Culture, Cosplay and Makers. Galactic Swag Expo is a 2-day event that features full-scale movie Sci-Fi spacecraft and vehicle exhibits, autograph sessions, cosplay competitions, special events and 100+ vendors.

  • 07/03 - 4th Annual 'Merica the Beer-tiful Celebration - Dallas - Free admission
    We're excited to celebrate the 4th of July firework show on July 3rd at Texas Ale Project Taproom! Games, craft beers, fireworks, food by Munchie Street and live music by Jes Spires and Justin Pickard! Doors open at 4 PM! Live Music starts at 7 PM! The bonus is that you will have an excellent viewing of the City of Dallas' Red, White and Boom on the Bridge firework show! Bring chairs if you like! Kids and dogs welcome!

    This tour has the most amazing chocolate and ice cream places on it! Dark, rich treats include decadent chocolate shots, Cuban ice cream and chocolate lava cake. Bring the whole family for the best treats around! 

  • 07/11 - Downtown Plano Art & Wine Walk: Dog Days of Summer - Plano - $12-$18
    July 11th will be the 30th monthly Art & Wine Walk! We're going to celebrate with a FREE slice of DELICIOUS BIRTHDAY CAKE for every participating wine walker, while supplies last. Attendees will sample select wines around the neighborhood, while enjoying live music, local art and shopping. At check-in, attendees will receive a commemorative glass, tasting card and wine guide. While enjoying wine samples, attendees keep track of the locations they visit on their tasting cards and turn in their cards to enter the raffle drawing.

    Interested in being a volunteer at Liberty By The Lake? Register to volunteer online and join our team for a day of fun and fireworks! We depend on the assistance of numerous volunteers to make the Liberty By The Lake festival a success. Volunteers can pick from the various events at Liberty By The Lake to choose where they'd like to dedicate their time. Volunteers are given free parking at the event, as well as a Liberty By The Lake volunteer t-shirt. Volunteers also get to experience a unique learning opportunity by being on the production end of the festival. Join us for an exciting day of serving your community and being a part of this great patriotic event, Liberty By The Lake!

We'll have some all around farm fun!
