  • Tuesdays - Late Night Tuesdays at The Samurai Collection - Dallas
    Explore The Samurai Collection after dark! Every Tuesday, The Ann & Gabriel Barbier Mueller Museum will stay open until 8 PM.

  • Thursdays - Twilight Tunes Concert Series - Denton
    The Denton Main Street Association will present the 26th annual installment of their concert series. Twilight Tunes is held on the lawn of the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square, alternating between the east and the west side during the season.

  • Saturdays - Denton Community Market - Denton
    The Denton Community Market is a local farmers and art market in downtown Denton. The market features live music, kids' activities, local farms, local artists, food trucks, food vendors, and more.

  • 06/01 - Tucker Hill Porch Fest 2019 - McKinney
    Porch Fest is a unique, FREE, live music festival now in its fourth year and hosted by the new home community of Tucker Hill. This open-to-the-public event will feature live bands staged on some of Tucker Hill's quaint front porches, on a restaurant patio, a charming gazebo, and near the Residents' Club, Pool, and Playground. Peruse a pop-up artisan market with 40 vendors, a new Kids' Zone area with children's entertainer and story-teller, Tanna Banana and free face painting, or enjoy food & wine vendors.

  • 06/01 - Kid Fish - Flower Mound
    The Rheudasil Park Pond will be stocked with more than 500 lbs of catfish for the event, which is free for youth ages 16 and younger. Prizes and awards will be given in several categories.   • 6/4, 6/6 & 6/11 - Parks Concerts Series - Dallas
    The Dallas Symphony Orchestra continues its tradition of performing in Dallas area parks as part of its Parks Concerts series. Patrons can expect a fun and entertaining night in a relaxed atmosphere that is free and open to the public. The casual and outdoor parks concerts let families enjoy music near their homes and are central to our mission to provide great music to those who live in and around Dallas.

  • 6/13 & 6/27 - Vitruvian Nights Live - Addison
    The best FREE Summer Concerts in DFW are back! Vitruvian Nights Live returns to the beautiful Amphitheater at Vitruvian Park. Live music, food trucks, and outdoor games continue every other Thursday through August 8. On June 13, our live band is Limelight (Emerald City Party Band), and on June 27, our live band will be Desperado (Eagles Tribute Band). Parking is FREE and available onsite at Vitruvian Park.

  • 06/15 - Addison After Dark Retro Night Out - Addison
    Put your dancing shoes on and get ready to jitterbug, jive, boogie-woogie, and swing dance the night away. Don't like dancing? No problem! Try your art skills with a free painting class then relax with a romantic movie.

  • 6/15 & 6/22 - 2019 Summer Movie Series - Dallas
    From blockbusters to animated favorites, from musicals to dramas, you won’t want to miss any of these fun flicks. Grab a space on the lawn, enjoy a food truck picnic and let the cinematic fun begin. On June 15, the movie will be A Dog's Purpose, and on June 22, the movie will be The Sandlot.

  • 06/26 - NorthPark Center Art Tour - Dallas
    NorthPark Center is pleased to announce the 2019 spring and summer season of complimentary guided tours and discussions of the internationally celebrated art collection on site. Tours will be led by Taylor Zakarin, Manager of Arts Programming, and Anna Kern, Arts Coordinator.

  • 06/29 - Independence Day Celebration - Dallas
    Celebrate Independence Day by sampling cold treats from more than a dozen vendors and enjoying contests, live music, games and other fun family activities. Wrap up the evening with a concert by the U.S. Army’s 36th Infantry Division Band and a spectacular pyrotechnic display on the Park’s East Lawn.

    Camp Bow Wow Plano and Plano Stages presents Paws on the Plaza - a free, fun and educational day out for you and your pup! Join us for lots of pup-freebies and raffles. Our theme this month is Relaxation Exercise for Public Places, Signs of Dehydration & Heat Stroke. We will have a puppy-friendly after paw-ty at Hub Streat!

  • 6/5-7/14 - Penny Candy - Dallas - $20-$100
    Growing up in a candy house sounds like every kid’s dream, but for 12-year-old Jon-Jon, helping his father run Paw Paw’s Candy Tree out of their run-down one-bedroom apartment isn’t quite a dream come true. As their neighborhood sees a surge of violence fueled by epidemic drug use and increasing racial tensions, the business begins to fail and danger looms immediately outside Jon-Jon’s front door.

    This very special and urgently needed concert will focus on the role of music in shaping what we think and feel about ourselves and how we love others. We will share personal stories of challenge and triumph and present a concert like none other. This concert will touch on the topics of mental health, suicide awareness, honoring dignity, and building self-esteem in yourself and others.

  • 6/7-6/9 & 6/13-6/16 - Newsies: The Broadway Musical - Plano - $12-$15
    Set in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenage “newsies.” When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what’s right!

    Matilda is a little girl with astonishing wit, intelligence and psychokinetic powers. She’s unloved by her cruel parents, but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly lovable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however. The school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!

  • 06/08 - Amazing Race: Father Son Edition 2019 - Grapevine - $15-$20
    Complete challenges, roadblocks and detours as a team to find your way to the finish line! You will get a chance to learn about different countries throughout Parr Park and participate in tasks indigenous to each country. Fathers may participate with up to three sons ages 5 and up. The first team of each age group who completes all challenges (in no particular order) in the time allotted, WINS! We will be providing hot dogs and hamburgers for the participants to have after the race with plenty of water!

  • 06/08 - Art Battle Live Painting - Dallas - $15-$20
    Join us for a sizzling experience of creation and community at Deep Ellum Art Co! It’s a wild night with great music as paint flies and masterpieces are created before your eyes! 12 amazing painters put their skills to the test with only 20 minutes to turn blank canvases into incredible pieces of original art that will be available via silent auction.     There are so many cool places, buildings and artwork downtown, and we want to take you on a big tour of it. What better way to do it than as a scavenger hunt...on a scooter?! We start at Dallas City Hall, and the after party is at Frankie's downtown.     The Grand Prairie Farmers Market will be open from 8 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, June 1, featuring a crawfish boil from 10 AM – 2 PM prepared by Dustin Clement's Heads or Tails Cajun Crawfish. The event will also feature live music, a gift market, arts and crafts, and games. The tasty crawfish will be sold for $10 a pound and will be accompanied with potatoes and corn.
