  • Saturdays - Sienna Summer Concert Series - Sienna Plantation
    Sienna will rock this summer during the free Sienna Summer Concert Series. The public can purchase dinner from food trucks starting at 5 PM, then spread a blanket and enjoy the tunes at 6 PM. Performers are different each Saturday in June - 6/1: The Mockingbirds, 6/8: Sol Flair, 6/15: The Fuse, 6/22: Park Avenue, and 6/29: The Slags.

  • 06/01 - Greater Houston Paws for Prevention - The Woodlands
    Bring your best furry, 4-legged friend out to walk with us for mental health awareness and fundraising for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This come-and-go dog walk event will feature water stations, food trucks, entertainment and resources for mental health advocates and suicide prevention. The walk is free to participate, but a $20 donation is kindly suggested.

  • 6/5-6/8 - Addams Family School Edition - Houston
    A now grown-up Wednesday Addams has fallen in love with a sweet and smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that weren’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

  • 06/06 - First Thursday - Houston
    Mid Main's First Thursday is a FREE music, art, and food block party in the heart of Midtown Houston! Complimentary drinks will be provided. The Urban Harvest outdoor food market on Winbern Street will feature chefs serving an eclectic variety of gourmet fare for the public along with beer samplings, compliments of Oasis Texas Brewing Company.

  • 06/07 - Texas Music Festival Orchestra in Concert - The Woodlands
    Texas Music Festival brings the future of classical music to the stage. The program will include Copland's Fanfare for the Common Man, Tower's Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman, Rachmaninov's Rhapsody on a theme by Paganini, and Rimsky-Korsakov's Scheherazade.

  • 06/08 - Party in the Park Concert - Houston
    Texas Black Expo is celebrating 16 years by hosting the Party in Park. There will also be an Indie Artist Cash Prize Competition with a performance by Vannah Blaq, the 2017 Winner. Over 1,000 music fans, music industry judges, and celebrity guests will join the event. Limited VIP seating is available. Food vendors will be on site and refreshments will be on sale.

  • 06/09 - Fascination Street Flea: Art & Vintage Market - Houston
    The Fascination Street Flea: Art & Vintage Market is a curated, monthly event of some of THE BEST local artists, artisans, and vintage vendors that Houston has to offer! This FREE event takes place on the second Sunday every month. There will be amazing Mimosa flavors and cocktail specials, delicious gourmet stuffed crepes, and local artisans showing off and selling their handcrafted goods! Neon Wave karaoke brings even more fun to our Sunday Funday event! You KNOW you wanna rock!

  • 06/09 - Father's Day Complimentary Hot Towel Shave Event - Houston
    Come one, come all for a luxurious pre-Father's-Day Complimentary Hot Towel Shave! Come to Bering's at 6102 Westheimer on June 9th!

  • 06/12 - History Through Cinema: Revolution - Houston
    The story follows a 15-year-old Manuel Corvalán, who decides to leave his upper-class family and be disinherited by his father to join the newly formed Army of the Andes, commanded by the General José de San Martín.

  • 6/13-6/14 - Junie B's Essential Survival Guide to School - Houston

  • 06/16 - Father's Day Scavenger Hunt - Houston
    Join us for two great events for kids of all ages. First up we'll have the Scavenger Hunt with Dad! Swing by Saucer to pick up a scavenger hunt sheet and explore downtown for landmarks and clues picked especially for kids to find with Dad. Then, Eureka Heights Brew Co. presents Father's Day Kegstravaganza! Follow us on Instagram to catch clues and pick up the trail of our secret hidden Father's Day keg.

  • 06/16 - Father's Day Salsa Contest - Kingwood
    Use your home grown veggies to create your own prize winning salsa! Join us at Warren's Southern Gardens this Fathers Day for a special event your whole family will enjoy! Each salsa entry must include a full recipe describing all ingredients used. Salsa entries must at least contain homegrown tomatoes, homegrown peppers and homegrown cilantro and/or onions.   • 06/21 - Lyrics & Lawn Games - Sugar Land
    We’re turning the Plaza into one big backyard party, so come hang out and have some fun with family and friends. Jupiter Pizza & Waffles Co. will be serving beer and wine for $5, and we’ll have lawn games set up! Plus, enjoy live music from Shotgun Road, a country group that plays the biggest and best country hits from yesterday and today, as well as original music.

  • 06/26 - History Through Cinema: Goya in Bordeaux - Houston
    Francisco Goya,deaf and ill, lives the last years of his life in voluntary exile in Bordeaux. He's living with his much younger wife, Leocadia, and their daughter, Rosario. He continues to paint at night, and in flashbacks stirred by conversations with his daughter, by awful headaches, and by the befuddlement of age, he relives key times in his life, particularly his relationship with the Duchess of Alba, his discovery of how he wanted to paint, and his lifelong celebration of the imagination.

  • 06/29 - Summer Family "Camp Out" Fun - Sugar Land
    Come enjoy a fun, family-friendly event for all ages. Explore NEO‘s interactive campsite with tents, games, friendly competitions, and even a lawn fishing tournament. Just coming for the fun? Play life-size games like 2×4 Jenga, KerPlunk, and Connect Four, or relax on the lawn with a game of checkers. We will have live music, too!

  • 6/29-6/30 - AsiaFest 2019 - Houston
    An international bazaar, performances, arts and crafts, fusion cuisine, and live demonstrations await at Asia Society Texas Center's annual festival. New this year, guests will embark on an adventure through Asia, using a passport to explore different regions' traditions, cultures, and food! Plus, come dressed as your favorite family-friendly Asian pop culture character!

    This lavish story ballet is filled with rich music and sweeping drama as decadent lives intertwine in early 20th century Europe. When a secret romance is uncovered between Count Danilo and the glamorous, wealthy widow Hanna Glawari (a former peasant girl who’s transformed herself into high society), their homeland and its aristocracy plot to preserve their love affair, while also saving themselves and the principality of Pontevedro from bankruptcy.

    Emancipation Park Conservancy (EPC) and Houston Play on Purpose (HPOP) are excited to collaborate and bring back the awe-inspiring stage play “In All Thy Getting: The Forgotten Story of Freedmen’s Town” this June. Purchased by former slaves in 1872 to commemorate the anniversary of “Juneteenth,” the day of their emancipation, this sacred ground is the perfect setting for this reintroduction to our rich history.

  • 06/08 - Houston Symphony: An Evening with Frank Sinatra & Ella Fitzgerald - The Woodlands - Free-$20

    Unlike most Guitar Festivals, we offer 6 days of activities, including one-on-one lessons, guitar orchestra practice (working toward a Saturday performance), master classes, theory, technique, composition, performance tips, and more! We hold our festival each year to provide classes for students of all ages. We also have concerts and hold a competition.

  • 6/14-6/23 - Marie - Houston - $25+
    History becomes HERstory as the past unfolds in this dramatic retelling of France’s infamous young monarchs, Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI.     The 20th Annual Dad's Day 5K, 3K and 1K Kids' Run/Walk is hosted by Tex Us Too, the Houston Chapter of Us Too International. On Race Day, prostate cancer survivors, their families and friends, and local businesses come together to achieve two goals: raise funds for local education and support, and increase awareness about prostate cancer.

  • 06/15 - Cypress Community Scavenger Hunt - Cypress - $10
    The VanRoss Foundation will be hosting their first annual Cypress Community Scavenger Hunt. So, rally your friends, family and co-workers to form a team and put your detectives skills to the test! Once you complete your scavenger card you will turn it in to be entered into the drawing for a variety of prizes. There will be food, giveaways and lots of activities for the whole family!

  • 06/15 - Father's Day Frontier Survival Class - Richmond - $10-$40
    Help Dad discover his inner pioneer with a special Father’s Day Frontier Survival Class! Learn the necessary skills for living on the Texas prairie and help fire off the cannon. We will also have an Introduction to the Art of Blacksmithing class. These workshops are 90 minutes each and are a great introduction into this historic art!

  • 06/16 - Amazing Grace - Houston - $10-$11
    Aretha Franklin's Amazing Grace, filmed in 1972, is a glorious documentary featuring Franklin and the choir of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Watts. Now, 46 years after it was filmed, Amazing Grace is finally being shown in theaters.

  • 06/19 - Juneteenth at the Ranch - Richmond - $10-$30
    On June 19th, 1865, in Galveston, Texas, Union General Gordon Granger declared, “The people of Texas are informed that, in accordance with a proclamation from the Executive of the United States, all slaves are free.” Join us 154 years later as we kick off the celebration for this historic event and feature the enduring African American contribution to the George Family Legacy. Learn about the African American families, both pre- and post-slavery, who helped shape the Ranch. Observe a re-enactment of this important speech and hear the reactions of the men and women who lived through this difficult time.

  • 06/27 - Island Boogie Thursday - Houston - Free admission
    Island Boogie Thursday starts April 25th at 8 PM. DJs Alex Aye (Houston/LA) and 5-D (Dallas) will be funking up the sounds of Paradise every 4th Thursday of the month all summer long. Check out this all Vinyl Funk Boogie Down Party!

  • 06/29 - The Woodlands Margarita Festival - The Woodlands - $23-$150
    The Woodlands Margarita Festival is the #1 festival in The Woodlands for margarita lovers. With over 15 unique margarita flavors to taste and enjoy in a fun festival atmosphere with live bands, great food, and vendors, it's become the "must attend" annual event for people near and far.

  • 06/02 - Run Houston! Clear Lake - Houston
    Are you part of a group or club that needs service hours? Are you trying to raise money for a cause or group function? Volunteers are needed at the 2019 Run Houston! Clear Lake race on June 2nd, and you can earn service hours and raise money by volunteering.

  • 06/08 - TangoTab's Feed the City - Houston - Houston
    Prior to the event, head over to the store and pick up the product. The more product that is brought, the more meals we will make. We request that each person attending brings some product. You can bring any of the items in any combination. Please try to bring an equal amount of meat, cheese and bread. For a full list of products to bring, please visit our website.

  • 6/10-6/15 - Houston Classical Guitar Festival & Competition - Houston
    Volunteer at the Greater Houston Guitar Festival! We have concerts and can use help at the door, selling CDs, taking tickets, setting up for the concerts, and breaking down after the concerts. And you'll get to hear the concerts for FREE! Every day there are things that need a hand from moving tables to distributing music to setting up for ensemble classes. Competitors check in, practice before their time in front of the judges, are guided through the area to the performance area. We can use logistical help getting all that done.

  • 06/15 - Dad's Day 5K, 3K & 1K Kids' Run/Walk - Houston
    After a Start/Finish line, the second, most essential component of a successful 5K is the volunteers . . . lots of volunteers. There are many types of volunteer opportunities. If you are a runner, there are volunteer opportunities on race day before and after the race. We will be outside in the sunshine, but there will be a few inside tasks with air conditioning. You may be required to do some light, medium and/or heavy lifting. Please consider being part of the volunteer team to host this event to fight prostate cancer!

  • 06/22 - Cupcake War - League City
    We are so grateful you want to help make this event a success! We couldn't do it without you. There are many ways to get involved before the event, during the event, and after the event. Thank you for your involvement in our 1st Annual Cupcake War! You are making an impact in the lives of children and giving families HOPE!

  • 6/29-6/30 - AsiaFest 2019 - Houston
    Become a part of the fun by volunteering for AsiaFest! Asia Society is looking for volunteers to assist on stage and in the family activity areas, gallery, and parking lot. Two shifts are available: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM and 1:30 – 5:30 PM. To volunteer for the event, please complete the online application.
