  • 06/01 - Cows on the Concourse - Madison
    Visit two cow petting areas and ask our “Moo Experts” your bovine questions. Tempt your taste buds with a melt-in-your-mouth grilled cheese sandwich and wash it down with ice-cold milk. Learn about the rich dairy tradition in the Badger State and build your dairy knowledge in the Ed‘Moo’cation Zone. Kids can check out our athletic stations and learn how dairy products are part of a healthy lifestyle and keep our bodies strong. Join in the My Dairyland Scavenger Hunt and visit each zone at Cows on the Concourse.

  • 06/02 - Cancer Survivors & Thrivers Ice Cream Social - Madison
    A special event for cancer survivors, those living with cancer, their families, friends and caregivers as well as healthcare providers. Take in Turville Bay’s Lake Monona shoreline under big canopies, enjoy Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream and listen to live music by Reverend Raven with Westside Andy. Win prizes, and enjoy the lake views from Turville Bay’s Healing Garden. There is no charge to attend Turville Bay’s Cancer Survivors & Thrivers Ice Cream Social. It is open to all, and parking is free.

  • 06/02 - Revel's 3-Year Anniversary Celebration - Madison
    It’s our 3rd birthday, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you! Save the date and get ready to join us for an afternoon of food, fun, and confetti. Drop in any time between 1-4 PM to say hi, eat some birthday cake, and enjoy other fun surprises. The Craft Bar and bar will be open, as well!

  • 06/02 - Ride the Drive - Madison
    The 11th annual Ride the Drive is more than just a free event and closing roads to traffic - it's family-friendly activities, entertainment, food and fun at three downtown area parks. Visit Brittingham Park, Olin Park and Law Park and stroll, roll, pedal or glide your way along the four-mile route at Ride the Drive 2019!

  • 6/6-6/9 - 51st Mount Horeb Summer Frolic - Mt. Horeb
    Join us at Grundahl Park in scenic Mount Horeb, for the annual Summer Frolic community festival. Enjoy carnival rides and games, live entertainment at the beer tent, exciting raffle prizes, the Norsk Run, a youth baseball tournament, bingo, and more!

  • 6/7-6/8 - Polkafest 2019 - New Glarus
    Polkafest offers two days of free polka music and dancing - join us under the big tent to sip some local beer and kick up your heels! Polkafest pays tribute to the late Roger Bright, local musician and bandleader who was well loved in the polka world.

  • 6/8-6/9 - Waterfront Festival - Madison
    Two days of festival fun kick off the summer each year on Madison’s east side. Yahara Place Park plays host to two music stages featuring the best of local, regional and touring bands. Waterfront also boasts a great array of vendors from local restaurants and businesses, the Dandelion Dash kids' race, the River Alliance’s hugely popular Fools Flotilla, kids' games and more.

  • 06/09 - Card & Banner Making for Confetti Foundation - Madison
    Last year we started working with The Confetti Foundation, a national non-profit who provides birthday boxes to hospitalized kids! Their mission really resonated with us (after all, confetti and celebrating ARE built right into our Revel DNA), and we’re thrilled to be part of the movement. We have a fun/easy way for YOU to get involved, too! Join us at Revel to make and assemble items that will go into the boxes, like birthday cards and banners. There is no charge and supplies will be provided. Just bring yourself!

  • 06/14 - Father Son Nerf Wars - Madison
    Dads! Bring your sons for the Ultimate Nerf War of 2019. We'll start on Friday, June 14 at 6 PM in the High Point Church Micah Center, and we'll have pizza. Bring your Nerf guns and your courage!

  • 06/15 - 4th Annual Summer Solstice Festival - Madison
    Celebrating the upcoming Summer Solstice, this lively event celebrates the sun and all things summer. The sunshine-inspired celebration of summer will feature live music from Better Yeti followed by Madison favorite, Natty Nation. The Grand Plaza will offer bites like a Jerk Burger as well as craft brews and rum cocktails. This event is free and open to the public.

  • 06/21 - Make Music Madison - Madison
    Make Music Madison is part of Make Music Day, the global music celebration happening all over the world. It’s a free, citywide, outdoor day of music held annually on the summer solstice. Make Music Madison turns the city into a stage welcoming a full spectrum of performers. Coffee shops, restaurants, front porches, and businesses all over Madison will fill their locations with song.

  • 06/23 - Dane County Regional Airport 80th Anniversary - Madison
    Passenger air travel provided Dane County with a runway to the future back in 1939…and it still does! 2019 marks 80 years of commercial flights at MSN, and we’re inviting you to celebrate with us! Join us for airfield tours, family-friendly activities, local food and beverages, live music and MORE!

  • 06/25 - Cashel Dennehy School of Irish Dance - Madison
    Cashel Dennehy proudly celebrates over 30 years of teaching Irish Dance in Wisconsin! Join us for Lakeside Kids on June 25 at the Monona Terrace for an exciting show filled with fun, music and dance and learn a bit of Irish culture along with the first steps of the Irish Jig!

  • 6/28-6/30 - 2nd National Dragon & Lion Dance Championships - Madison
    Get ready for an exciting weekend of Dragon and Lion Dancing and a vibrant celebration of Chinese culture. Participating teams will compete for the privilege to represent the U.S. abroad at an International Tournament and will showcase the art and athleticism of traditional Asian Lion and Dragon dancing. This event is free for the public to attend, cheer on the teams, and learn about the acrobatics, culture, storytelling and history that mark these unique dance forms!

  • 06/29 - Heidi Family Fun & Market - New Glarus
    A prelude to the Heidi Play at 2 PM, this Family Fun & Market event will host several child-friendly activities & demonstrations, along with a farmer's & craft market.

  • 06/29 - Shake the Lake - Madison
    Festival Foods' Shake the Lake would not be complete without a full line-up of entertainment guaranteed to provide hours of fun for the whole family. Festival Foods' Shake the Lake will once again feature live music throughout the event, headlined by national acts. Join us for a night of music, food, beer, and fireworks!

    This benefit concert will celebrate the progress our local jazz scene has made over the past 7 years while raising funds to sustain the performance and education programs developed and supported by the Greater Madison Jazz Consortium and recognizing UW School of Music Professor John Schaffer on the occasion of his retirement from the university.

  • 06/05 - Soy Candle Making - Madison - $18-$22
    We had a great time making candles in May and decided to offer this event again for those who didn’t get tickets before it sold out! During this event, you’ll learn the basics of DIY candle making using high-quality, environmentally friendly soy wax. Stop in during your assigned time, choose your desired container and scent, and we’ll walk you through all the steps. Easy breezy!

  • 06/07 - 7th Annual Handel Aria Competition - Madison - $15
    Seven finalists have been selected from around the world to come to Madison to compete for cash prizes, the Audience Favorite award, and the opportunity to give a recital in Handel’s parish church in London next spring. These emerging artists will each perform two arias from Handel’s operas, oratorios and cantatas, accompanied by the Madison Bach Musicians.

  • 06/07 - WPR Simply Folk 40th Anniversary Shindig - Madison - $30-$75
    Celebrate 40 years of Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Simply Folk” with two 2019 Grammy Nominees live in concert. Dom Flemons, co-founder of the Carolina Chocolate Drops, headlines with Mary Gauthier, an award-winning singer-songwriter. Local favorites Cris Plata and Extra Hot open the show with their exciting mix of country folk and Mexican roots music.

  • 06/09 - Brave Space - Madison - $25-$40
    Aloft Circus Arts' newest show, Brave Space, is the building of a blanket fort, an impulsive congregation in the tiniest of tents. Intimate and low tech, this hour-long work of contemporary circus invites the audience to sit nose-to-nose with bold aerialists and acrobats to build the world we want to live in, even if only for a few shared moments.

  • 06/15 - Fetch Dog Jog - Waunakee - $15-$35
    The lengths are 5K for the race and 1 mile for the fun walk. Walking or running is okay for the 5K. Dogs must be registered to join the 5K run or 1-mile walk. Each registration includes a drink ticket to Octopi, and a swag bag. Strollers, baby joggers, roller blades, skates, skateboards, bikes, and scooters are not permitted. Join us for a fun party with fellow dog lovers right after the run/walk. We'll have live music, a raffle, fundraiser prizes, great food, and more!

  • 06/15 - Loop the Lake Bike Ride - Madison - Free-$35
    Loop the Lake is Clean Lakes Alliance's annual bike ride that highlights our community’s lakes and lake shore bike paths. Loop the Lake is a ride, not a race, so everyone is welcome to enjoy the fun! Event proceeds support our work to protect and improve our lakes in the Yahara Watershed. Loop the Lake is not just a bike ride - it's a community day to rally around our lakes!

  • 06/16 - Father's Day Celebration - Madison - Free-$19.99

    The American Family Insurance Championship will showcase some of the most accomplished and recognizable players in the game. It will be another fantastic event for participants, golf enthusiasts, and everyone in the community. Most importantly, proceeds raised will support the Steve Stricker American Family Insurance Foundation, the American Family Children's Hospital, and other charitable organizations that make Madison and the entire state of Wisconsin, a great place to live and work.

  • 6/28-6/30 - The Heidi Play - New Glarus - Free-$8
    Welcome to The Heidi Play! Enjoy the last weekend of June in historic New Glarus. Join us for food, a farmers market, blues music & the historic performance of The Heidi Play. Since 1965, The Heidi Play has been a beloved New Glarus tradition. Come join us for one of this year’s plays in the beautiful climate-controlled high school auditorium.

    Burger Week is a week-long, citywide celebration showcasing the best burgers of Madison! Some restaurants will showcase a burger from their menu, and others will concoct something new for you to try. Participating restaurants will give $1 to The River Food Pantry for every burger sold throughout the week. PLUS, Budweiser is a proud sponsor of Madison Burger Week, and is going to donate $1 for every Bud sold at participating restaurants to The River Food Pantry. Can you think of a better way to help others than eating burgers and drinking beer?

  • 06/08 - Breakfast on the Farm - Brooklyn - $4-$8
    Our breakfast menu consists of cheesy scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, milk and coffee.     Come out for Bike Fitchburg's own unique event for 608 Day in Madison, Bikes & Brews in the 'Burg! We'll have a fun 6.08-mile ride to the edge of Fitchburg, a 6.08-mile return trip, and $6.08 specials at Funk's Pub.

  • 06/13 - Drink-N-Draw at the Museum - Madison - $10
    What better way to learn about the Traveling Art Exhibits than through drawing? No artistic experience is necessary for this fun evening of drawing and cocktails. As we talk about veteran artists, participants will sketch objects and photos from our collection. Experienced artists can join us and draw at their own paces with limited guidance.

  • 06/15 - Fitch-Rona Pancake Breakfast - Fitchburg - $7-$10
    Yahara Bay Distillers will host a Fitch-Rona Pancake Breakfast in June. Chef Josh Pleasnick will offer traditional pancakes as well as bourbon blueberry herb pancakes, served with Yahara Bay’s Bourbon Barreled Maple Syrup. The breakfast includes a choice of sausage or 3RD GEAR Candied Bacon or Wisconsin-based Nueske’s bacon. Tickets include endless pancakes, breakfast meats, milk, juice and coffee.

  • 06/16 - Cooking with Dad: Father's Day Brunch - Madison - $22
    What better way to spend some of Father's Day than cooking together? Join us as we make healthy food fun and learn kitchen skills in this culinary adventure designed for dads and kids to cook together! Includes a recipe book to take home. Designed for ages 5 and up and their dads, grandpas or any special grown-up! (One grown-up attends free with each student.)

    Father's Day Breakfast will be served from 8:30-10:30 AM. Free for all dads, and all others are $6. Nancy E. Butts Scholarships will be presented to four recipients.

  • 06/16 - Whiskey & Waffles for Father's Day - Madison - Free-$15
    Bring Dad in for a delightful treat to start off Father’s Day. To complement the waffles, we will have a host of whiskey (and non-whiskey) infused toppings including whipped cream, fruit, nutella, and maple syrup. Each plate also comes with a pour of our Belgium Single Grain Whiskey. Sweet and smooth with notes of caramel and vanilla, this is the ideal breakfast whiskey! You can choose a mimosa or juice instead of the whiskey pour. Please let us know if you have a food allergy or a special dietary need, or would prefer a mocktail - we are happy to accommodate.

    Farmer’s Market season is in full swing! Join us before or after your Capitol Square loop to enjoy a #drinkandDIY. Sip a mimosa while decorating a large canvas tote bag. Check out our inspiration photos and then embellish your bag using paint, stencils, fabric markers, metallic studs, trim, and other embellishments. Use it to stow your cheese curds, cheese bread, cheese, and other market finds!

  • 06/28 - Pups on the Patio - Madison - Free admission
    Come hang out with Fetch’s most eligible puppies, enter a raffle for a chance to win great prizes, and enjoy some amazing food & drink from The Wise Restaurant & Bar! 10% of all food & drink sales will go directly to helping the pups at Fetch! For this event, we ask our guests to leave their pups at home, so people can focus on the puppies up for adoption. Typically, we are a very dog-friendly establishment and welcome anyone to come hang out on the patio with their pup!

  • 06/29 - Bacon & Brews - Madison - $60
    We like beer and we like bacon. This event brings together two of the things that we love the most and want to share with folks everywhere! Nowhere else will you find a better assortment of bacon and brews than right here! General Entry includes all you can eat, all you can drink, live entertainment, yard games and a sample glass. VIP tickets are $80.

  • 06/01 - Burgers & Brew - Middleton
    Join in on the fun and help us make 2019 the best Burgers & Brew, yet! By volunteering for Burgers & Brew, you get entrance to the event, one burger ticket, two beer pours, and our unconditional love.

  • 06/02 - Ride the Drive - Madison
    Each volunteer receives a coveted Ride the Drive tee and a one-year Madison BCycle membership! We also provide sunscreen, bug spray, water and snacks for your time. We ask all volunteers to be willing to assist as needed and please no smoking while volunteering or near the booths.

  • 06/08 - Sweet Home Wisconsin 5K - Middleton
    Cheer runners on along the course and guide them in the right direction. Set up and distribute water as racers pass. Help at the finish line setting up, handing out medals, waters and bananas and cheering on the finishers! There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer!

  • 06/08 - Breakfast on the Farm - Brooklyn
    Are you, your group or organization interested in volunteering at the Breakfast on the Farm? Add your name and contact information for the shift(s) that you can volunteer for this year. We have a lot of different volunteer options and shifts.

  • 6/8-6/9 - Marquette Waterfront Festival - Madison
    Be part of the fun! Round up your friends and grab a shift at the 30th annual Marquette Waterfront Festival.

  • 06/15 - Hot2Trot Run - Cottage Grove
    We need lots of help to put on the Hot2Trot Half Marathon, 5K and Kids Run. Volunteers are needed to help direct runners on the course, hand out water, help with registration, and other duties. In return for your help, we can offer our sincere thanks, and a volunteer t-shirt. It's fun to be part of race day!

  • 6/28-6/30 - 2nd National Dragon & Lion Dance Championships - Madison
    The 2nd Annual Dragon & Lion Dance Championships is looking for volunteers!  Volunteers will be provided with shirts, food and drink and community service hours. 4-hour shifts are available on Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th from 7-11 AM, 11 AM-3 PM and 3-7 PM.
