Situated along the banks of Lake Monona in Dane County, Wisconsin, the city of Monona is a small yet diverse city of about 8,000. It’s the perfect event to help escape from the winter blues and enjoy the natural beauty of Monona. During the summer, residents can hang out at the city’s public pool and over ten parks. The community is home to various other events and sites. One such event in particular is the Maple Syrup Fest, the city’s largest festival of the year.
