Driving Directions:

From IH-90 exit Ross Point Road (exit #7). Head north on Ross Point Road for approximately half a mile and turn left onto Mullan Avenue. Continue on Mullan Avenue for another half a mile. The Cash Store will be on your left, in a strip mall located in the Walmart Parking lot next door to Chase Bank and Great Clips.

As a result, the city experienced a sixty percent increase in population from 2000 to 2010. By the latest estimates, Post Falls had nearly 28,000 people and is the tenth largest city in Idaho.

There is an abundance of recreational activities to do in Post Falls. Ten miles of the North Idaho Centennial Trail runs through the city, complete with scenic areas as well as rest stops. Another relaxing outdoor spot is Falls Park, a 22-acre space that sits along the Spokane River in downtown Post Falls. The park has a platform where visitors can view a 40-foot waterfall. The Tautphaus Park Zoo has more than 400 animals, making it the largest zoo in the state. Exhibits include Patagonian Realm, a children’s zoo, and the Animal Encounters Wild Animal Show.

Budget-friendly events are also held annually throughout the city. The town’s Winterfest Community Celebration includes caroling, arts and crafts, and treats at City Hall Plaza. The Post Falls Chamber of Commerce has an annual chili/soup cook-off. Each year, the Post Falls Lions Club presents a Haunted House, a popular attraction that is also a club fund-raiser. The Post Falls Festival features a parade, food vendors, carnival and live music in the summer.

Additional town attractions include the Greyhound Park and Event Center and the Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center. The Greyhound Park and Event Center showcases off-track horse and greyhound racing. Even if racing isn’t in session, the park simulcasts other events from all across the nation so you can get in on the action. The Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The center hosts a variety of art events including musical performances, plays and cultural exhibits.
